Hepatobiliary Surgery

The Hepatobiliary Surgery Department is dedicated to precision surgery for diseases of the liver, bile ducts, pancreas, and spleen. Home to a nationally recognized team of specialists, we leverage cutting-edge imaging, intelligent surgical systems, and a wellestablished Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) model to deliver personalized, integrated care. Our full-spectrum approach covers screening, diagnosis, surgery, intervention, and rehabilitation for complex conditions including hepatobiliary-pancreatic tumors, stones, infections, and portal hypertension—all within a seamless, onestop patient journey.

Our Clinical Strengths:

(1) Precision Minimally Invasive Liver Resection:

Mature application of three-dimensional visualization reconstruction for precise preoperative planning. Routinely perform laparoscopic anatomical resections of liver segments, lobes, and hemi-livers, achieving an optimal balance between maximal radical cure and minimal trauma for hepatocellular carcinoma and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.

(2) Comprehensive Minimally Invasive Treatment for Complex Biliary Diseases:

Specialization in laparoscopic radical resection for biliary tract cancer and hilar cholangiocarcinoma. Combined with endoscopic techniques such as Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangioscopy (PTCS) and ERCP, we have established an integrated "combined soft and rigid endoscopy" minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment system for biliary stones, strictures, and tumors.

(3) Advanced Pancreatic Tumor Surgery and Comprehensive Treatment:

Routine performance of laparoscopic-assisted pancreaticoduodenectomy (Whipple procedure), distal pancreatectomy, and spleen-preserving surgery. In close collaboration with Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Intervention Radiology, the department develops whole-process management for pancreatic cancer patients, including neoadjuvant therapy, conversion therapy, and postoperative adjuvant therapy.
