The Department of Emergency has established an integrated prehospital, emergency, and critical care system, delivering 24/7 high-quality medical aid and resuscitation for critically ill patients. Pre-hospital ambulances are equipped with monitoring/defibrillation units, ventilators, and chest compression systems. The emergency resuscitation area contains 2 advanced resuscitation bays and 11 critical care beds, each fitted with a Mindray central monitoring system, SV650 ventilator, and Mindray infusion management system. The department is also equipped with biphasic defibrillators, fully automated gastric lavage machines, 18-lead ECG devices, bedside blood gas analyzers, rapid biochemical analyzers, and pointofcare ultrasound.
