The Pharmacy Department covers an area of 1,800 m² and consists of the central drug warehouse, integrated outpatient & emergency pharmacy, central pharmacy, intravenous admixture services (IVAS), and clinical pharmacy units. The outpatient & emergency pharmacy is equipped with automatic dispensing and granule preparation machines. The central pharmacy uses automated tablet repackaging systems. IVAS is outfitted with six Class 100 clean benches and eight biosafety cabinets, supporting the preparation of parenteral nutrition, antibiotics, and oncology drugs. With modern facilities, streamlined workflows, and an innovative service model, we ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality supply of clinical medicines.
The Department is not only equipped with advanced intelligent systems, but also staffed by a highly qualified team of pharmaceutical professionals. The team oversees a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical services, including prospective order review, prescription evaluation, ward rounds, and pharmaceutical consultations. We are committed to strengthening medication safety management through monitoring and reporting of adverse drug events, supervising off-label medication use, and related initiatives—all to ensure safe, effective, and economical rational drug use for patients.
