医院自规划之初，便秉持美的创始人何享健先生“造福桑梓，回馈社会”的公益初心，将提升区域重大急救能力置于核心地位。此次启用的直升机停机坪位于医院急诊中心外部约30米，是佛山市首个在册通用机场，专为保障航空医疗救护与应急救援需求而建。

Since its initial planning, the hospital has upheld the public welfare aspiration of Mr. He Xiangjian, Founder of Midea Group — “to benefit hometown communities and give back to society”. It prioritises enhancing regional capabilities for major emergency treatment as a core mission. The newly commissioned helipad lies approximately 30 metres outside the hospital’s Emergency Centre. As Foshan’s first officially registered general aviation aerodrome, it is purpose-built to support air medical rescue and emergency response operations.
