His areas of expertise include the operative and non-operative management of ankle fractures—particularly lateral malleolar fractures—as well as adult-acquired and congenital deformities such as pes planus (flatfoot), pes cavus, and equinovarus deformity. He is also highly skilled in the correction of post-traumatic foot and ankle deformities, management of ankle arthritis with associated malalignment, and treatment of ligamentous injuries of the ankle. Additionally, Dr. Guo has significant experience in the surgical repair and reconstruction of Achilles tendon injuries, including both acute ruptures and chronic (neglected) Achilles tendon tears.
