Li Dongyu

Prof. Li has nearly 40 years of clinical experience and has performed close to 10,000 complex cardiac procedures, including the first heart transplant at China Medical University. He specializes in the surgical treatment of coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease in infants and children, aortic and major vascular diseases, and end-stage heart failure. His routinely performed procedures include offpump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), minimally invasive CABG, minimally invasive valve repair, congenital heart defect correction via small incisions, and major vascular surgeries such as those for aortic dissection.
